Experienced Leadership
Jean McConnell-Copploe, MS, PT, ATC
Jean earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education with her Master of Science in Sports Science and Exercise Physiology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania; she furthered her education at West Chester University attending the core curriculum in Athletic Training and then became a Nationally Certified Athletic Trainer. Jean then attended Howard University of Washington DC obtaining her professional degree in Physical Therapy.
Jean has over the course of her professional career worked with high school, collegiate, and professional athletes as an athletic trainer and physical therapist. She has gained experience in acute care, nursing home and out patient physical therapy settings.
Jean has gained expertise in treating pelvic floor and sacral dysfunctions, cervicocranial syndromes and vertigo as well as post trauma rehabilitation. Her manual skill level is enhanced with training in Mulligan and Neuromobilization techniques.
Jean especially enjoys the challenge of treating acute and chronic back pain as she experienced a severe back injury early on in her career. She realizes the pain and agony of spinal dysfunction and uses her self treatment protocol in her private practice facility to treat her patients. This learning ‘on the job’ experience with her back injury has allowed Jean to earn a solid reputation as a back care specialist within her medical community.
Personally Jean is happily married and has two beautiful children. She enjoys running, biking, alpine skiing, tennis, and playing golf.
David J. Denton, D.P.T
Doctor of Physical Therapy
David J. Denton, D.P.T. earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Youngstown State University. He also completed his Bachelor of Science, majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry also from Youngstown State University. While in the Physical Therapy Program, he served as class president, was an active member of the Ohio Physical Therapy Association and was a graduate teaching assistant.
He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Ohio Physical Therapy Association and is licensed in Ohio. He has special interest in manual based treatment techniques for spine conditions, orthopedic problems and neurological pathologies.
James M. Daley, BS, LMT
Jim is a licensed Massotherapist and exercise physiologist with over 20 years of therapeutic experience. He is a graduate of Youngstown State University and the Ohio College of Massotherapy. Jim specializes in therapeutic/medical massage, with a special interest in sports massage/therapy. Jim has also instructed at the YSU Metro College, lecturing on therapeutic massage. Jim receives great satisfaction helping others and enjoys working in the physical therapy setting. Jim is attending Penn State Shenango to get his Physical Therapy Assistant degree. Jim was born and raised on the West Side, he is a graduate of Chaney High School. He is married and the proud father of two children, which attend Canfield Schools.
Calvin R. Wagner, Jr., LMT
Calvin is a licensed Massage Therapist with over 10 years of experience. He graduated from Youngstown College of Massotherapy. Calvin specializes in therapeutic/medical massage with a special interest in Myofascial Release. Calvin has lived in the area all his life graduating from Woodrow Wilson High School. Calvin has two children that also live in the area.
Michelle M. French, BMA
Michelle is our Administrative Assistant with 15 years of medical billing & collection service and office management experience. She grew up in Hubbard, Ohio and is a graduate of Kennedy Christian High School. She attended ITT Technical Institute receiving her Associates degree in Business Management and Accounting. Michelle is the proud mother of her middle school daughter. Currently Michelle is pursuing her credentialing to become a Certified Professional Coder.
S. Lynette Host
Marketing Associate
Lynette graduated from Youngstown State University cum laude. She has a bachelor degree in Professional Writing and Editing with a concentration in public relations. Lynette comes to Pinnacle Health Concepts, LLC with over 13 years experience in public relations. She has been married for 42 years and has two children and six grandchildren.
Lynette knows the value of physical therapy from personal experience: "I am pleased and excited to be a part of Pinnacle Health Concepts, LLC. After suffering a broken wrist I learned the value of PT. It is my desire to see Pinnacle Health fulfill its mission to serve others and to give honor to our Lord."
Lisa C. Stephenson
Exercise Physiologist
Lisa Stephenson earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Mount Union College. Lisa was involved in running the G.I.F.T. (Girls In Fitness Together) program at the YMCA in Alliance, Ohio. The program promoted knowledge to young girls about healthy eating habits and exercise. She is also Jump Stretch Band Certified and CPR certified.
Lisa enjoys and coaches gymnastics at Sandy Bee Gymnastics in Boardman. She is the competitive team coach there and is USAG (U.S.A. Gymnastics) safety certified and AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) certified.
